Peregrine – Manchesters’ Millennium Falcon

Peregrine Falcons have moved into urban Greater Manchester during the 21st century

Breeding in Manchester city centre first took place in 2006 and there are now several urban nesting pairs of Peregrines within Greater Manchester

Urban Salford seems to be an area where Peregrines are being seen with more frequency, with birds displaying around the Docklands during Spring 2015

The Peregrine is a symbol of Manchesters’ urban jungle and, in terms of promoting and marketing, is gold standard value due to the popularity of birds, raptors and urban wildlife
